I always had an interest in photography, from my high-school days to the present. In the early film days, I did some of my own developing using the darkened bathroom as my darkroom. I got seriously interested in picture taking during the last fifteen years. Having retired gives me more time to spend on photography and digital manipulation of pictures. I had several of my pictures in the Annual LaCloche Art Show. For a while, I dabbled in wedding photography, and candid shots of people. I came to Canada in the late fifties, worked in land surveying and later on in computer consulting. I spent twelve years at INCO in the Geology Department and later on in the Computer Services Department.
