Anita Bunt
Presented by Artists on Elgin
February 1 – March 1, 2017

Expressions of Joy is open to the public at Artists on Elgin for the month of February. The reception will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 1 to 4 pm.

Anita Bunt finds solace in the natural world with Expressions of Joy. Bunt presents paintings and drawings of the northern landscape in oil, acrylic, and pastel.

Bunt hopes to share the same feelings of joy she experiences in nature through her paintings. "Nature has a way of endlessly presenting itself in awe-inspiring ways" she explains. "The adventure of finding it is what keeps the journey exciting."

Anita Bunt is a Northern Ontario artist working in oil, acrylic, watercolour, and pastel. She is a member of the Walden Art Club and the Sudbury Art Club and has exhibited her work at the La Cloche Juried Art Show and the NOAA Annual Juried Art Show. She teaches oil painting at Parkside Older Adult Centre and several of her pieces have been selected to appear in movies and television series filmed in Sudbury.

The public is encouraged to attend the opening reception where Bunt will be present to discuss her work. Light refreshments will be served.

Artists on Elgin is located at 168 Elgin Street, and is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
