SUDBURY, ON – March 24, 2014 – Artists on Elgin is proud to host an exhibit entitled The Divine Feminine by local artist Julie Courtemanche, expressed in one paintings and two dimensional paintings. The opening reception will be held at Artists on Elgin on Saturday, April 5 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The exhibit will be on display for public viewing throughout the month of April.

This empowering exhibit features several different paintings focused around the sacred wisdom of the divine feminine. Julie found her inspiration from her painting "Mother Nature" which she submitted to the Art Impact Juried Art Show last year.

"This is a thought provoking show that will leave you feeling empowered", explains Courtney Natale, Business Promotions Coordinator with the Northern Artists Gallery/Artists on Elgin. "She has truly embodied the inner strength of women through her paintings."
