Artists on Elgin launches a return to Photography for the 2017 Calendar

SUDBURY, ON – October 21, 2015 – Artists on Elgin will be accepting submissions of photographs for the 2017 Calendar. This return to photography will mark the 10th Anniversary of the Picture Our Lakes Calendar!

Fear not, artists working in other mediums. Going forward, Artists on Elgin will alternate between photographs and work in other mediums every second year. For example, while the 2017 calendar will feature just photographs, the 2018 calendar will be open to other mediums, including painting, textiles, pastels and more.

All submissions must feature an identifiable water body and need to be taken within the boundaries of the City of Greater Sudbury. Digital submissions of the paintings are to be made through Artists on Elgin’s website where you can also find all the details and rules regarding the contest at www.artistsonelgin.ca. The competition will open early in the new year, stay tuned to our website for more details.

The 2016 Calendar featuring a variety of mediums is available for sale at Artists on Elgin, and at different locations around the city including Sudbury Public Libraries, The Backyard Birder, Kitchen Bits and A&J Home Hardware.
