SUDBURY, ON – January 9, 2014 – Artists on Elgin is looking to recruit local emerging artists 30 years of age or younger for a two month winter themed exhibit to be featured at Science North. This exhibit will give emerging artists an opportunity to have their art promoted and displayed in one of Sudbury's most well known attractions.

In an effort to support the young talent that exists within the city, Artists on Elgin believes it is important to provide opportunities for these artists to be exposed. This will be the third exhibit that Science North has offered to display as an extension of Artists on Elgin's Art About Town project, which displays the work of AOE's members at various local venues.

"This is a great opportunity for young, local artists, explained Courtney Natale, Business Promotions Coordinator with The Northern Artist Gallery/ Artists on Elgin. "It can be very difficult to get exposure as an emerging artist and we believe that the talent in our city deserves to be showcased".

The theme for the upcoming February show will be "winter". Artists on Elgin invites all local emerging artists 30 years of age or younger to submit digital examples of their work to This email address is being protected from spambots.
