The North at Artists on Elgin
A prismatic take on Northern Ontario
SUDBURY, ON – October 10 – Local painter Frank Danielson will have his solo exhibition November 4th at Artists on Elgin, titled The North. His opening reception will take place from 1 pm - 4 pm. The event is free to the public and they can meet with the Northern Ontario artist to learn more about his unique style.
The paintings in the show focus upon the landscape of Northern Ontario. Using a prismatic approach, Frank Danielson has sought to reproduce the colour effect of the landscape from that area.  His approach yields landscapes that are vibrant, colourful, and they spark a fresh appreciation for the geography of Ontario.
“All of the paintings in the show feature images one might find while travelling the roads and hiking trails that span this vast province,” says Danielson.
Frank Danielson’s work is shown all over the world including France and Japan. The Sudbury local welcomes the public to his opening reception November 4 from 1 pm - 4 pm at Artists on Elgin. The exhibit will run until November 29.
Artists on Elgin is located at 168 Elgin Street, and is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm.
