Kathleen Atkinson-Hindle exhibits at Artists on Elgin

On August 3rd, between 5pm-8pm, metalsmith Kathleen Atkinson-Hindle will lead us through her love affair with metals. She has grown up with a piece of metal in her hand and has been captured by the idea of creating movement in something seemingly immovable. The exhibit runs from August 1st-31st at 168 Elgin Street.

Kathleen has completed both the Jewelry Essentials program and The Artist Blacksmith Program at The Haliburton School of The Arts as well as completing the Jewellery and Metals Program at Georgian College. She has also attended the Penland School of Craft in North Carolina. Kathleen has worked on commissioned words for The Royal Ontario Museum, The Children's Aid Society and The City of Toronto.
Kathleen's work can be found in various galleries and in collections around the world.
